Physics Boat Project

The Physics Boat Project was enjoyable, but also difficult. Building this project helped my team bond closer, and made us realize it sure isn't easy building a boat. Our objective was to build a boat that was able to stay afloat, and could carry at least two people until we've reached the finish line. The only materials we were to use was, cardboard boxes and duct tape. The day of the competition, it was a bright sunny day we gently placed our boat into the Encinal pool, once the horn went off, my two partners paddled as quickly as they could, then it tipped. Even though we didn't get to the finish line, we had won most creative, and got an award with a golden light bulb.

Kahsai Formal

It took months for us to plan this, for our ACLC high school students to enjoy this magnificent night! It’s definitely a night that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was one of my proudest moments; I didn’t know I was capable of planning such a remarkable night. This took lots of preparation and time, we had to go to the Rhythmic Center (the venue we rented for the night) almost three times a week turning in important forms like, the Dance Permit from the police department, and getting insurance covered. To get enough money to afford the DJ, food, venue, and security guard.

Geometry

This was one of the most difficult project I have ever worked on, we had to measure the Willie Stargell building and create a model to present to the class. We had to do lots of measurements and observe the Encinal Wille Stargell building ,making sure that we had actually got all of the exact measurements and corners correct.I cut myself several times trying to make the the project as perfect as it could be. This was one of my proudest moments, I had received an A, and til this day its still up behind Paul's desk.
